Moonlight

I had to take a moment to just stare at my ceiling after this. Not only was it visually so pretty (and blue) it had such a meaningful plot. I felt to connected to chiron through every chapter of his life. Him and kevin’s relationship was very interesting and seeing it change over time was cool. This was also a big win for symbolism stans. I thought the re occurring theme of blue tied in with the story and if you know it’s there and pay attention to it it’s actually kind of crazy.The diner scene was one of the best scenes i have seen in a while. I think this is such an important story to tell because this is a reality for many queer and black folks. I have not stopped thinking about this movie since.
