Joker

Deserves all the hype. Joaquin Phoenix really comes through with his acting to the point where you really can't tell who's who. The Joker is arguable the most complex comic book character and this movie does his origin story justice. It is as dark, compelling and layered as the protagonist itself. There isn't a dry moment in the entire movie.
