Taxi Driver

The amazing jazz score gives this movie such a smooth, velvety feel, almost hiding the ugliness and violence within. Despite being a fairly ambiguous and polarising movie, it goes down smoother than one would expect. Maybe it's because I watched them back to back, but I found a lot of parallels between this and Fight Club. In other news, Robert De Niro has just always been that bitch.
