Dune: Part Two
Genuinely my all-time favorite movie. I’m not going to get into the intricacies of all the themes because you could literally write a thesis on the genius of this movie. But in short, I truly have no gripes with this film. It’s the perfect follow up to its predecessor and the third act is the perfect crescendo after four hours of buildup and setup. The beauty of this movie alone is nothing short of a spectacle and a miracle of cinematic achievement. Along with the political tension, prophetic, grander than life atmosphere, breathtaking score and immersive action, Dune 2 takes you on an unmatched journey that will leave you asking the biggest questions life has to offer. This is the rare scenario of perfect concept, perfect execution. Cannot recommend this movie enough.
