A star in the making. this is probably the fourth time I’ve watched this film. My sister told me to watch it, so after it came out on VOD I decided to and thank the lord I did because I love it so much. Mia goth is a star. I love the message of basically only being wanted when you’re young but once you’re old you’re nothing. When watching the young lady’s and man getting freaky it’s entertaining and hot, once Pearl and Howard start getting freaky it’s gross and ugly. You’re only young once. Also I love how even though the young cast may come off as selfish and rude, they truly care. When Howard is “looking” for pearl you can tell Jackson really cared and wanted to help him find her, same with when Bobby Lyn finds Pearl, she truly cares and wants to help Pearl but obviously since the old people aren’t good both Bobby and Jackson die. I also loved the cinematography in here, it’s really beautiful when the farmers daughter is being filmed, the horror, and bloody kills are happening. Also the foreshadowing of the Wayne’s death is so cool “people’s eyes are gonna pop out of they damn skulls when they see this” then later he gets his eye pulled out. Rj’s death scene was also so cool I loved how fear the reaper plays while Pearl continually stabs him until his head falls off, and then her just dancing after was so funny 😭I really liked Lorraine’s character, it’s probably my favorite character Jenna Ortega has ever played, she starts off as a boring background character but slowly through out the movie she gets a personality which made me mad when she died, I really would’ve loved too see her and Maxine in a sequel. I really enjoyed seeing Maxine fight and not let anything get in her way of the film, she literally deserved to be famous, and her iconic line “I will not except a life I do not deserve” really stick with me.  overall this movie was beautiful, it has many great themes, a hot cast, and very well acting!
