So basically, I had pretty high expectations for this movie, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to them. The idea behind it is great, but I think the screenplay, the way the story was presented, the acting, and even the cinematography were all weak and far below what I expected. The butterfly effect is actually an interesting concept. Instead of tying it to a curse or supernatural elements, I think the movie would have been much better if it had taken a more scientific approach, similar to “Lucy”. Overall, it feels like a wasted opportunity.
