Obsession

I was wrong. I watched the trailer and went in with low expectations. Those expectations were wrong the MINUTE the movie started. Excellent acting from all four of the main actors in this movie especially from Michael and Indie. They are both non-mainstream actors and I love that so much. The main thing I liked about this movie was that it actually scared me. Which is crazy. I love scary movies! What’s even crazier is that the person I watched this with said that it wasn’t that scary. Which is crazier because she gets scared very easily. I’m thinking that if you are used to horror movies this will scare you because the scare tactics are so different from other horror movies. It’s almost like in some scenes they want you to anticipate a jump scare then make it even scarier than what you imagined. At the end of the day this movie was sad when it wanted to be and scary when it wanted to be. Also it was funny idk why. It was funny in a weird way. I usually don’t laugh out loud in the movie theatre but some of the main characters dumbass decisions were funny. (bonus points for a great soundtrack)
