Stalker
This was my first Tarkovsky movie and I was scared that I wouldn‘t like it, since so many people say that his directing style is really slow and is often perceived as boring.
However, I definitely didn’t feel this way. Yes, this movie is slow, but in the best way possible. The cinematography is absolutely outstanding and propably the best I‘ve seen, alongside A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon and Portrait of a Lady on Fire.
However, the deepness and incredible storytelling are especially what made this movie for me.
