In my head is a masterpiece but otherwise Ariana Grande isn't for me
How the hell did it even happen if the camera never fell on the tracks like in the premonition??
"My girlfriend turned into the moon." "That's rough buddy." No but what do you mean they just took her to the moon ☹️
#Team John Ambrose Am I supposed to be rooting for Peter?? Am I supposed to forgive Gen for how she treated Lara Jean??
It's not too late to chase John Ambrose, Lara Jean!! Peter is so immature, wasn't even willing to have a conversation about Lara Jean going to NYU. Like great job for apologizing in the end but there's no way they're gonna forever... They literally broke up three times throughout the movies!!
Shitteth hath hit thy fanneth It was made during the Romcom renaissance, it is silly and fun. But it was just okay.
"I know I'll miss him forever." ☹️ You can be friends with someone for so long when you're a kid, and the you're likely to just never speak to them again. They'll change your life and then they'll hear nothing about it 😞 Chris constantly telling Gordie to pursue his writing, and telling him to leave them behind to be the best he can be was very noble and sweet. This movie actually showed boys being friends and not just telling each other to man up, that was nice! Then the parallel between Gordie stepping up to save Chris when they're kids and then not being there to save him again when they're adults was so sick and twisted!! 😭 The only reason I didn't give this movie five stars was because it was a little boring at times but, otherwise, very good!
"I'm just going through something right now" Holy fucking smokes dude 😟 - Maybe back when it came out the demon voice was making people shake in their boots but it hasn't aged well. I laughed every time the demon spoke 😭 Definitely gave me the heebie jeebies but I didn't find it very scary. It's a slow burn and those are very hit or miss for me. The practical effects were very cool, it felt "realer" than a lot of the CGI used right now.
Alr so I wanted to attend the Guts tour but I'm now relieved that I didn't miss much 😭 I love a lot of Olivia's music, however this whole concert film was very meh - 1. While I can hear Olivia, they kept the crowd way too loud and it was distracting and annoying. It's especially strange to keep when she's singing ballads because you cannot hear her! But you COULD hear, "MOTHER!!" And "I LOVE YOU!!" 2. She spent quite a few songs literally yelling instead of singing. Like for one or two is great but for so many?? 3. Almost no choreography of any kind except for during 'love is embarrassing'. Otherwise she just runs around aimlessly. There weren't interesting set pieces besides the moon she sits up on, and the platform she laid on for 'making the bed'. While I'd never expect her to pull out insane moves (Taylor cannot dance for the life of her), she could've been given something to do. 4. Editing was choppy as hell, the angle was changing way too often for no reason. I managed to watch up until 'obsessed' but by then it felt like it was just dragging on. It was really sad because I'd been really looking forward to this movie since it was announced :( Maybe I would've given it more brownie points had it kept 'can't catch me now'
I don't know if anything is this movie was in any way plausible. There was probably a bunch of holes in the heist plan but it was super entertaining anyway I also just love Anne Hathaway 😋
Banger after banger after banger The dancing was very fun and this movie was actually hilarious, the outfits were cutesy!! I think every single Disney Channel movie is about being yourself and not conforming to what other people want And like maybe we still need those movies bc ppl are so mean 😞 This movie was great but I give most great movies the 4 and the best a 5 Side Notes: I think Teen Beach Movie & Austin and Ally are the reasons Ross Lynch formed a band + Laia Mitchell has such a beautiful smile ☺️
R.I.P. Tess you would've loved that person who cut up their mother's wedding dress for a mushroom hat ❤️ Jane has beautiful hair and 27 friends who've gotten married. Why she wasn't a bridesmaid for hire is unbeknownst to me! Apparently all 27 of those friends hated their bridesmaids. Those dresses were hideous. Kevin was only a little insufferable at times. And the dress montage scene was rlly cute. The confession was mid.
One word describe the problems within Challengers: Unnecessary The main song of the movie played at the weirdest times, they'd be having a heart to heart and you'd be hearing this annoying club beat The editing was so weird, like, artsy but without any rhyme or reason Absolutely no need for the constant time skipping around between past and present I didn't care about anything happening by the end of the movie bc I was thinking what the hell did I watch
Obligatory I LOVE ANNE HATHAWAY!! The friendship between Jules and Ben was very sweet I like that the movie never made the message "women can only be a mother or a businesswoman". I was a little worried they'd give into that!! Ben being 100% team Jules was great, can't say the same Abt her husband... Maybe it was intended to be a joke, but the best part of the movie was Ben saying Jules could be buried next to him and his wife so she won't feel alone (it's very sweet in context, I promise 😭) was really nice ☹️ Only reasons I docked it half a star was because Ben's love interest was introduced by her groping him?? Was there no other job to give her in the office than the masseuse?? Call HR immediately The other reason is that Jules took her husband back at the end of the movie. Idc if it was eighteen days or eighteen minutes, cheating calls for immediate divorce 🙄 Otherwise, great movie!! ❤️
Pretty boring up until the end John absolutely losing his marbles over signing a paper was genuinely the best part of the movie. I think it really captured the mob mentality, how bystanders watched with glee and triumph when the "witches" were killed. It's honestly terrifying. Only thing really missing was Abigail getting slapped by Elizabeth... It wasn't in the book but yk they could've taken a creative liberty 🙄
Heartbreaking from beginning to nearly the end We should've gotten to see Carlos and his mom hug after not seeing each other for years, after everything they went through ☹️
The Taylor & Travis "inspired" Hallmark Romcom Absolutely terrible, and it was the good kind of terrible until it got very boring. 😭 15 counted lyric references My mom and I decided an alternate title could be "A Swift Travis-ty"
OH MY GOD??? My face during every fight scene was 😧 They were insane! Both Ram and Bheem were so badass and it literally didn't matter that it was unrealistic it was bc THEY WERE SO COOL Like fighting your way through a literal crowd with nothing but a stick and dream?? Insane. Fighting a tiger?? Crazy!!
Well my family and I wanted to watch a movie, a Christmas movie And Die Hard is many a people's favorite Christmas movie However that's the first Die Hard, and apparently the third is the best one, so This movie was crazy and I don't think I need to elaborate
The bad guy had a point this time bc I can't name one thing the FBI did this entire movie "Thank you for your help, John" STFU it's "Thank you for saving the day, Mr. McClain, bc we didn't do anything for anyone." He stole like 6 vehicles in this movie alone Billions of dollars in damages Go John McClain
Ik it's terrible I've never seen this cult classic before 😞 I was laughing the entire time, this movie's so ridiculous
I know absolutely NOTHING Abt Sonic the hedgehog This movie was terrible, so stupid The dialogue was so on the nose, even for a kid's movie and the actors + voice actors were trash And, like, they made me think Shadow was dead for ten minutes Anyway this will indeed sweep at the Oscars bc it is a masterpiece Thank you man sitting behind me in the theatre
Guys dw it has a happy ending however it is devastating most of the movie Also after Wil comes out to her mom AND THEN her grandma dies also, there was an ad screaming a Christmas song at me and ppl dancing and I can't help but feel it was intentional on Roku's part
I get it, now. I completely understand. And I basically had no clue what was going to happen the entire time! I've never seen any previous rendition of the stage musical nor had I listened to the soundtrack! So it was all new to me. (And I've also never watched The Wizard of Oz in full either, so... Me and movie musicals 🤞 Something about people singing and dancing and wearing tap shoes like they're regular shoes in movies just makes me happy ☺️ especially if said movies are 3 hours long lol So while I can't say for certain how I'd enjoy the original stage version of Wicked, I definitely loved it in movie format! Onto the actual movie: So pretty!! All the colors, while desaturated, were nice to see as movies refuse to engage with any color anymore. Which I guess I could just start expecting from movie musicals. Why sing without whimsy?? Can Elphaba have like one good thing. Just one. Madame Morrible would've been my last straw, how could she 😭 And then Glinda still not sticking by Elphaba in the end despite them becoming close friends :( No dad, no sister, no mother, no mother figure, no friends, like what the hell, what happened to loyalty MY SHAYLA ☹️ Fiyero stands on business, so ig she'll have him Jonathan Bailey 🥰 Ethan Slater's face just makes me mad now, idgaf about Boq, no further comment Dancing Through Life was probably my favorite part, the spinning libraries were super cool and the song itself is so good. I just continue to wonder why Fiyero would show up to a seemingly prestigious school to tell everyone to slack off Maybe it was explained and I missed it but otherwise I found him silly I nearly started crying at the Ozdust scene because they were being SO MEAN TO HER 😭 Anyway, I really enjoyed it and can't wait for part 2! Again, I have no clue what will happen!
