I’m not even going to get into the shit storm of a theatre experience I had during this but please for the love of God LEARN MOVIE ETIQUETTE AND STFU DURING THE MOVIE. Anyways, Cregger is that guy! He is perfect at weaving comedy and horror together in this and Barbarian both (only annoying part is it cheapens the horror just a bit). The score is super effective especially during a specific scene that is terrifying (my theatre started laughing for some reason). So much is packed into only 2 hours and balances everything very well. Really don’t like the exposition dump at the beginning with voice over as well as for the end of the movie, felt kinda cheap. 10 more minutes for an epilogue would’ve been nice. Loveeee the ensemble here though. Keep cooking ZC!
