Undoubtedly a masterpiece. Psychological thrillers as a genre has become stagnant and predictable and this movie subverts every single trope and expectation and creates a truly thrilling crossover between romance and horror. The standouts for me are the performance from Nicki’s actress, skillful camera work, controlled and deliberate blocking, and excellent editing that allows suspense to brew in moments you do not expect.
