Peggy Snowblood

Sion Sono's love letter to cinema in such a bloody way and somehow this movie was even bloodier than Kill Bill The Whole Bloody Affair!!! What a phenomenal movie about the art of making the movie itself while exaggerating the sheer absurdity of one director would go to make his movie possible. Fuck Bombers is so corny in a way that I love them very much. They are people who are so passionate of cinema that they don't let adulthood ruins their aspiration. I love the way the blood was used in this movie, it is so japanese like that I gotta applaud. The way it just spatters all over the screen and the movie just becomes more and more fucked up and messed up I think I gasped like 56 times in this movie especially in the final scene. So many thing can happen and you are just lost in the mist of it all...

The greatest action movie ever put on screen and I meant every word of this sentence. Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is the movie that only Quentin Tarantino can make. I see him as this cinema DJ mixing and mashing different influences and homage to create this giant new bowl of salad. And this bowl of salad is one of the greatest thing I have ever seen. A lot of thing changes for this movie. The crazy 88 fight sequence is no longer in black and white, which I learnt from today that it is due to the censorship but today I got to eat it in it's full glorery. It pays homage so well to the old Samurai fighting Japanese Movies. The way the blood just paints the movie feels electric and beautiful. I really love the Lady Snowblood reference in this movie. It gives me a sense of joy that I rarely get from an homage. The extended anime is so fucking good too, It characterizes Lucy so fucking well that I gotta applaud The soundtrack by RZA is fucking phenomenal, I cried during these scenes just to show how amazing this Wu Tang producer is... My favourite theatre experience of my life so far and what a movie man what a movie
