Pusher II
Thinking about this movie does make me feel emotional in some sort of way.
Pusher II is more psychological based than Pusher, and you can obviously see the difference in the two films. Pusher II is a lot more focused on Tonny and his behaviour, how he is a broken character that needed some sort of validation from his father which he never received.
The wedding scene where the Duke made a message about how he sees Ø as his son, explaining how he always came on time and did the job done while shortly after that comparing him to his actual son Tonny broke my heart. Especially since you can see it on Tonny’s face and body language.
The ending was unexpected, however comforting in some sort of way. Tonny seemed like for the first time in his life feels like he isn’t a failure anymore, and it’s all thanks to his newborn baby son.
I love you, Tonny 😞
