so pitch it to me !
i watched this while eating a cake from a walmart. now i actually really really enjoyed this. so far one of my favorite movies i’ve seen this year. which isn’t say much, sue me but come on. the cast was delightful, the stories as they ate dinner was done well. as the foods get stranger and stranger to me, they all are having different conversations with each other and it helps move the story along. after watching the trailer, i did assume this movie would have a super gory turn. but i was surprised it didn’t. i enjoyed the suspense and thriller aspect to it quite a lot. it’s amazing to see a movie be horror and not play into the super glory troupe. this movie was a good as i hoped it to be. i hope that we are continuing a sub-genre of political messages that have been delivered in media. (White Lotuses, Triangle of Sadness). i do hate that i didn’t get the chance to see this in theaters.
