man this it nuts. everyone is miserable. everyone suffers A LOT. Especially Dong geun but like every single person is like fucked. I wouldn’t wish anyone to live on this show. It’s like a competition on who gets more fucked in a physical and mental way. By the end everyone is dead, stabbed, full of scars, lose their mind, drugged, lonely, fatherless, betrayed, daughterless, motherless, or have to live on gut wrenching guilt forever. And like Dong geun kind of got a “happy ending”, but all of that for what. And it doesn’t show that vengeance is bad for you at all only that like you collect what you sew. And I don’t have a problem with that, but I know some people will have. Honestly the acting was TOP OF THE CHARTS. Everyone was in their 200% and I appreciate the risks it took. At some point there were too many characters back stories to keep up with but if you binge watched it I think you might not have a problem with that, but as I watched the first part once it came out and just now watched this part it was a bit challenging. But overall everyone suffered but I feel like Dong geun went through a lot of trouble for like minor consequences for Youn Jin. So the question is, how worthy was it? But I guess she’s satisfied idk.
