I always have a hard time with modern horror, I feel that the only thing it’s built on is shock value and no real depth. It always has to be really graphic and nasty to get people’s attention. This film didn’t need extreme body horror, or insane plot twist every 30 minutes. It’s impressively well-thought-out and cohesive. Maybe the best horror film to come out of 2025!
