“And for my next trick, I’m gonna fucking kill myself.” This movie will always have a special place in my heart and I truly believe this is the best musical biopic and it’s not even close. The way it portrays addiction and manipulation and toxicity is amazing. The fact Elton John helped direct it as well only helps. I love the fact he himself chose Tarim Egerton to portray him just shows how good of an actor he actually is. The music is such a vibe as well, I know all the lyrics because I used to watch this sm when I was younger😭. The acting in this is incredible along with the music, pacing and cinematography. This is a 10/10 for me and if you don’t agree then go and have some fun, the tiny dancer scene itself makes this movie a 10/10 let alone the rest I also love how they recreated the ‘I’m still standing’ music video at the end that’s class
