the boondock saints is stupid fun and i love stupid fun movies — gratuitous violence and swears are what makes boondock saints such a great movie and anyone who trashes on it is probably a sissy  the whole scene where paul (willem dafoe) reenacts the crime scene while the macmanus brothers + rocco are in the shot, playing out the crime, is what “cinema” means to me and i love it shout out to st patty’s day as well because without it we wouldn’t have been graced with the boondock saints
