truly no words… dev patel’s debut is absolutely incredible. i felt like through his storytelling and his character, dev knew what he was doing was so much bigger than himself. that whole storyline was absolutely beautiful. dev just uplifting brown voices in this industry was so so amazing and just made me cry. this was such an amazing directorial debut, and dev patel made a tremendous impact with his directorial debut. dev’s storytelling, highlighting a story that clearly means a lot to him was so beautiful and fresh. some of the best action scenes, along with a powerful story. he knows he would be impacting brown communities everywhere. truly no words! this movie is for everyone but esp brown moviegoers!!
