Hi All, When I rate films with the stars, they represent how I think it was good as a film, I’d use the heart if I enjoyed it or ‘liked’ the film OR thought it had more potential. I sometimes post my review a day after I watched the film I follow back I can speak a few languages check out my [Top 60](https://boxd.it/QMqN4) list if you want to see more of my favourites [Dodgy Streaming Websites](https://yarrlist.net/movies-and-tv-shows), Tubi, Kanopy, and Criterion Channel are goated 🥹✌️ Started to get into films around 2023 Joined Letterboxd as of October 2025

Unfortunately it didn’t reach the high expectations I had for my first Kubrick. I’m obviously still eager to see the rest of Kubrick’s filmography. Whilst people say the visuals are sensational I don’t think it was as good just because of the day and age I’m watching this. Although I admired its technical brilliance and influence, I found it easier to appreciate than fully connect with. It’s a film that earns respect more than affection - it’s well crafted, even if it didn’t completely resonate with me. * * *End sequence was great though!* **76/100**
