Wonder Man

I really don't like logging tv series on here but Wonder Man is the exception. It's an amazing breath of fresh air is the current landscape of the MCU, that takes some bold risks. It's a tender take male friendships and a clever look inside the film industry with a great exploration of themes like identity, guilt, loneliness, reconciliation and self-actualization. The chemistry between Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley is just so cool and wholesome, their entire character dynamics is so intriguing and wonderful. The changes made for Simon Williams backstory are very much upgraded and quite frankly perfectly fitting to the current MCU and also by the way Simon's powers are introduced and explained it definitely seems very much implied that he is a mutant and an omega level at that whereas in the comics he receives his power through experiments with ionic energy, is which awesome tbh, I very much love this change. Him being a mutant would make so much sense, especially as the MCU slowly introduces mutants and shift to the Mutant Saga. I genuinely enjoyed this series, I highly recommend yall, please give it a watch! 4.5/5.
