Dune

A brilliant introduction to the world so masterfully realised in prose by Frank Herbert and now similarly realised in film by Dennis Villeneuve, Dune Part One is a film of two halves, the first I found more engaging than the second, although both had their moments. The films pace is a tad uneven in my opinion but this does not work too much against it, rather it gives it a somewhat disjointed vibe when recalling both halves of the film. Regardless, a most epic production which sets up the Dune story marvellously.
