The Creator

Very confused film. I love Gareth’s stuff (Rogue One, Monsters) but I feel despite how beautiful and stylistically cohesive this film was its plot and story did not match. If anything, the creator should have over complicated its plot somewhat and left things a little ambiguous (although not as ambiguous as how a mechanical weapon grows more powerful like a biological being) rather than blindly tell us a very familiar AI revolution tale with a few blasting plot holes. Conclusively I think I did enjoy the film and it’s a testament to what technology can do on a tight budget but the creator fell short of its impressive presentation
