Superman
Where do i even begin. James Gunn delivered a masterpiece. movie of the year in-fact. the story, making superman feel like a human instead of this all powerful being created such a deep and meaningful message. From the commentary to fight sequences. WOW. The cinematography was incredible. As a die hard marvel fan who generally has enjoyed DC her whole life especially Superman and Supergirl i can proudly say DC is so back and cannot wait for the rest of the DCU to unfold. It excites for the future of Super-girl and many more comic characters that deserve a chance to be better represented or have their story told in a different light through movies and tv shows. i wasn’t particularly familiar with David Corenswet but my oh my absolutely incredible, adored him so much, his ability to portray superman as a man and as a super was just beautiful and the chemistry between him and Rachel Brosnahan was off the charts. it’s safe to say Clark Kent and Lois Lane are in safe hands. I cannot wait to see their relationship further in coming movies. Nicholas Hoult, already familiar with his game and as usual he did not disappoint as Lex Luthor. His embodiment of the character was incredible, monologues were delivered extremely well. Absolutely fantastic work from him. all the other characters were incredible as well especially loved Hawkgirl played by Isabel Merced but Special shoutout to EDI GATHEGI who played Mr Terrific. His portrayal was so loveable and i cannot wait to see his characters future in the DCU. Overall, what a perfect way to start of the new era of DC. Loved this film so a much deserved 10/10.
