one of the most stress-inducing movies i’ve ever seen. *dicaprio* and *penn* are at their absolute best here, embodying trite pieces of shit from totally different angles and perspectives. it’s predictable at times, the pacing was rough in the first act it was and DEFINITELY too long, but holy **shit** i was not expecting this movie to be as on-the-nose and bold about its politics as it was. they didn’t **always **land, the humor was a little over-the-top at times and i didn’t love **everything **by any means. at the end of the day, it was a radicalist fever-dream that makes for a great conversation piece, and one that’s hopefully for the greater good. btw, *benicio del toro* was my favorite character, as usual.
