Avengers: Infinity War
We're in the endgame now. This is it. The finale of a 20-movie-long build-up…
- Thanos is brilliant and menacing. The dude also speaks exclusively in quotes.> *- This universe is finite, its resources, finite. If life is left unchecked, life will cease to exist. It needs correcting.*
*- You don't know that!*
- I'm the only one who knows that. At least, I'm the only one with the will to act on it**.-** His search for the infinity stones is one of the most entertaining and engaging things in any movie I've watched in a while.
I especially love two of those scenes:
• When everyone gangs up on him on Titan. Cause you see what all of our characters can achieve together. Although then Quill fumbles the literal fate of the universe instead of waiting 5 seconds… 😒
• And when Thanos uses the newly acquired time stone to go back and get Vision's mind stone. Just shows you how unstoppable he is.
- I really like everyone's dynamic. Like when Thor, then Stark, and Parker, etc, first meet The Guardians.> *- …What master do you serve?*
- What master do I serve? What am I supposed to say, Jesus?
*- You're from Earth?*
*- I'm not from Earth, I'm from Missouri.*
- Yeah, that's on Earth, dipshit. What're you hassling us for?- I, of course, already knew about the snap. It's like the **"No, I am your father"* moment in Star Wars*. You literally can't avoid those types of spoilers while being online during these years. But the scene was amazing nonetheless.> I don't feel so good Mr. Stark.- Thanos' whole philosophy behind the snap was quite compelling too. With all the 'resources, balance, and a grateful universe' stuff.> *- Did you do it?*
*- Yes.*
*- What did it cost?*
*- Everything…*
