Whiplash

MASTERPIECE. I wanna be great. I wanna be one of the greats. Simply a great film. The ambiguous ending makes it better.i felt exhausted after this, the tension never let up for a single second. the way it portrays ambition as a kind of sickness is so uncomfortable but i could not stop watching it. Fletcher is a complex character, which is why he is one of the best characters oat because people are complex so he feels real. So, Fletcher wanted to make Neiman one of the greats which makes him a supporting character but he didn’t care how much pain Neiman had to endure to become one of the greats which makes Fletcher a villain. Either way, he won in the end since Neiman went through pain but also because one of the greatest. Andrew has finally perfected his drumming.
