Lost Highway

i would have loved to misinterpret this but i don't know if i'm allowed. it asks to be traced back to a psychological dimension, and at least this ( unlike mulholland drive imo ) feels like it can take place in someone's mind. that gets a bit suffocating as it leaves little room to work whateverthatwas out independently, which is something that i was expecting from this film. still, it is pleasantly aware of its strong direction; the demiurgic presence of the mystery man itself is in a way the spectre of that authorship. also the first word spoken in this film after 5 minutes of dead silence is dick XD
