I was hoping for gorey but still an awesome movie

Entertaining but Michael was one dimensional and the movie lacked any exploration on how the abuse affected family dynamics. Story lacked substance. they didn’t even bother to explore Michael’s mother being complicit in their abuse. They had him excuse it when he was in the hospital. Then again the movie was made by his living family members, I guess they’d rather blame everything on the dead father than own up to past mistakes. Movie slop
