Beautiful Boy
I've heard that the book is more emotionally gripping than the movie, so I may end up giving that a try.
I had high expectations after reading so much about this, seeing Steve Carrell in this role pretty much everywhere; despite crying, it was underwhelming.
Seems to be incredibly realistic, the constant journey of relapse and suffering to eventual, if ever, recovery. That's what makes the movie an interesting watch, being able to experience it from the family's perspective of losing grip on a loved one and having the uncertainty cloud their lives.
