Cabaret

In all honesty, watching this based solely on reviews of the play was a staunch disappointment. It felt as if through everything, I expected more and more and more, but it all came short. The 3 stars is really only for the incredible soundtrack composition, the performances were very interesting and even unnerving at times. The film itself was senseless, of course the real story went on in the background of the background and you can only guess so much with a history knowledge. I suppose that was the point. Nonetheless, I was let down.
