Imma be real, I haven’t seen this movie and I was a Timothee truther and wanted him to win the Oscar because I saw Marty Supreme. Upon actually finishing Sinners, Timothee was most definitely a phenomenal runner-up and nothing more, take the award MBJ.  I love music, mostly all of it. I played drums, saxophones, etc, and I felt the music reach my soul when I was watching this movie. That scene in the juke was so fucking cool when all the different eras and cultures of music were thrown into one big melting pot of art. Coogler outdid himself.  MBJ did a phenomenal job as the twins, I have no gripes there. Being able to grieve one twin as the other is just insane. I have no gripes with actually anybody in this movie, even the racist white dudes felt like racist white dudes.  Ludwig had to be chosen for this movie, his scoring brings beauty to every project he’s in. The only thing I thought could’ve been interesting was if the vampires were kept a secret until the white people showed up at the barn. Would’ve made me more suspicious of them rather than already having a resentment towards them.  In conclusion, this movie fucking rocks. All the action sequences, cinematography, WHEN THE ASPECT RATIO SWITCHED oh god dude. I love this movie so much. (P.S, I love MBJ here, but mfs need to reach out and look at more dual roles. People are acting like this is the first one ever. It’s not. Lupita Nyong’o in Us, go study your dual roles).
