Dune: Part Two
I'm actually a little late to watching this so I've already heard a few things about it. I know it would be good but I wanted to take everyone's opinion with a pinch of salt. My god, did this blow me away. This is at the absolute peak of sci-fi film making. I genuinely sat there think I was watching cinematic history, it was that good.
Timothee Chalamet brings such in intensity to the role, it was really beautiful to watch. One of my favourite parts of the film is the switch in tone his character has when he begins to believe all the worshipers. It was so good to see and so well done. All of the cast were absolutely brilliant. The only problems I had were with Dave Bautista and Austin Butler. Dave was great but I couldn't understand what he was saying sometimes when he was shouting, but I'm just nitpicking there. I loved Austin in this but I do think he was under utilised. I would have liked to have seen more of him.
I think Denis Villeneuve has cemented himself as one of the great sci-fi directors. He is on a really good run of films.
