Never have I had a movie drop so much upon a second watch. Not sure what I was thinking last time, but my frontal lobe has developed. I do appreciate the incredible look of the film, but it now feels much more slow and not much happens. I don’t mind the symbolic nature of the second half of the movie still, but it’s a little too on-the-nose. 3/5 stars.

Not bad. The concept is fun and it’s a unique concept to have a basically audio driven horror film, but there are a few things holding this back to push it over the top for me. First, the script. It is bordering on cringe for quite a bit of this film. Nina Kiri’s performance left some to be desired, and the pacing was pretty slow for the first three quarters of this film. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the final act and it was pretty creepy. 3/5 stars.

Decent. Adds nothing new to zombie cinema, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Some fun situations/kills. Sarah Polley’s character is absolutely unbearable and drags the film down quite a bit. However Ving Rhames, Mekhi Phifer, and Michael Kelly all bring some fun back into the movie. It’s just kind of a middle-of-the-road zombie flick. 3/5 stars.

Mediocre. Some memorable scares but overall kinda boring with forgettable performances and storyline. 2/5 stars.
