Shutter Island

I’m a sucker for plot twists. If a movie wants a free key to being a top movie for me, a plot twist is the way to go. This movie does a great job of leading you one way and then making you look back at the path you took to get where you are, and then the path doesn’t look familiar. It’s hard to explain, but some plot twist movies simply like to give you a story, but then just change the entire plot line to surprise you. Instead, this movie is the same story in both perspectives, but they mean something different for each mindset you have. This movie is a definite watch and will probably be an even better second watch. 9/10
