*I’m here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I’m all out of bubblegum.*

I had nothing going on at work and I was bored so I watched the last 30 or so minutes of this. I hadn’t seen this in years. But god, I wanna rewatch the whole thing now. So damn good. That extra wide shot of Ninny sitting on her suitcase, looking at her old house has always given me chills for some reason.

A lot better than I expected tbh. The tension was great and actually had me on the edge of my seat. When the witch started crawling up the elevator, I had the biggest smile. That whole segment was awesome. I think why I liked that whole part was with how unpredictable it was. You’re constantly guessing on what’s going on and they subvert your expectations making what could go wrong go wrong. Awesome stuff. I wish they utilized the rabbit a bit more especially cause it was the main use of marketing but whatever the parts that he was on I liked. One thing I hated about the witch that I hate about most modern day horror movies tho, are those smiles that ghosts and witches and monsters will have. I think it’s the corniest shit and they try so hard to make smiles scary. One reason why I will never watch the movie “Smile”.

I’m one of the directors and I think I did a good job 🥹 [Watch here](https://youtu.be/ie0I3DQGKPQ?si=dhO6GX9iemLO-2cr)

I absolutely loved this. They did such a great job with making Jesse so threatening. Every second he’s on screen, the scene instantly becomes tense. They depict him as unkillable. And we believe it, despite the title of the movie completely giving it away. Near the end, when Bob gets up from his chair, my stomach instantly dropped. Definitely gonna rewatch this some time soon.
