Obsession

The fact that Curry Barker is 26 and made this masterpiece is insane.  The cinematography of Nikki constantly being shown next to bright lights and being shrouded in darkness is such a nice detail and especially so considering the line ‘Sunshine in a crystal…Nikki would hate that.’ The acting is incredible. Inde Navarrette is incredible. She deserves awards for her acting in this. She carries the movie and the way she flips between personalities so seamlessly is impressive.  The ending of implying Nikki made a wish to have Bear love her for it ultimately to be pointless is so poignant and helps drive home the point that you can’t force someone to love you.
