Jessie Buckley is electric and it’s good to see Christian Bale back on screen after a few years hiatus, however this film doesn’t know what it wants to be and focuses on too many genres and subplots it ends up feeling like five great movies are trying to mush into one but ultimately leaving nothing but a mess.

A beautiful neo-noir glimpse into the lonely, chaotic, and complicated fallen angels who only come out at night

I went to see this film for a third time and once again it was amaze amaze amaze The best ending to a film since The Shawshank Redemption in my opinion

I couldn’t help but go out and watch this film again today; I deeply love this film and what it stands for. A film that leaves you with a sense of hope for the days ahead on this planet in the times we live in right now. The practical effects are top notch The score by Daniel Pemberton is godly levels of beautiful symphonic storytelling The puppetry done for Rocky The direction by Phil Lord and Christ Miller And the acting by Ryan Gosling Not to forget to mention the cinematography done by Greig Fraser Along with the entire cast and crew all come together to create what I consider to be a masterpiece Maybe it’s recently bias or maybe it’s my own intuition by this might be my favorite film of all time. A beautiful, bold, and brilliant love letter to humanity and our struggles and triumphs; and a beautiful love letter to teachers across the globe. I LOVE THIS MOVIE
