Marvel advertised a movie that gave certain characters a promise of more screen time and more character development. On one of the promotional materials it said and I quote “Now with more Bucky” However, I found that Bucky had a solid 10 minutes on screen. Most of which he spent aura farming and serving face card. Wasted potential. All of Buckys screentime seemed to go to John Walker. Whenever he was on screen he did get clowned on which I enjoyed. However, I will not take this John Walker propaganda. They could never make me like you John Walker. So far these last few movies have taken a similar route with the “I can fix you” mentality. Like bruh can we just kill the villain at least once or are we going to say “doom this isn’t you”
On a positive note, it wasn’t bad. Bucky did aura farm and served face card. They had actually decent jokes going on. Also they gave Bucky his best look yet in the post credit scene (coming from a professional Bucky fan)
I am not pleased with the concept of Sam and Bucky divorce. What are they talking about. Are we ignoring their development. Why is there no communication going on. They literally said I love you and now we are to believe that they aren’t talking? Marvel get it together.
Anyways, 5 stars because I am deeply desperate for marvel to be back and I am delusional due to this. Also 5 stars because I am professional Bucky gooner 💜
