Possession

Wow this movie was insane. Possession is a surrealist horror film and one of the most u settling movies I have ever seen. It follows a couple who are going through a breakup. As the movie goes on the behaviors of these 2 people become more weird, violent, and unexplained and it’s clear that someone is hiding something. The performances were also amazing in this film and Isabelle Adjani is unbelievable in the two characters she plays. She easily gives one of the best and most emotional performances I have seen. Sam Neil is also great and he matches her energy really well. I also loved the camerawork in this thing. It utilizes up close shots numerous times super well and has some amazing and memorable Kubrick stares. This movie isn’t for everyone, it’s odd, unsettling and is filled with unexplained moments and scenes, but it was an u forgettable viewing experience that will stay with me for a while and I really enjoyed this film. Overall would definantly recommend.
