Going into this show without knowing anything about this character, aside from the stuff in the Hawkeye series. Also interested in this new mature content + All Episodes Available format.
Episode 1:
Pretty interesting start. Did not expect sci-fi natives in the beginning.
I like the decision of adding a recap for Maya’s character from the Hawkeye show, good way of getting casual viewers to experience this show without having to backtrack through multiple other MCU shows.
I still need to know why Kingpin put the hit on her dad, and I want to know how she got that wound??

Kinda took a break and went on to catch up on other shows and films. But I’m back now.

Episode 2:
Another okay episode, but wouldn’t it have been better if the superpowers stuff was in the first episode, so there would be another hook into this series other than seeing the obvious return of Kingpin?

Episode 3:
Again, nothing really to note. Just another fine episode. Interested in where this Kingpin stuff leads to though.

Episode 4:
Pretty neat confrontation between Maya and Fisk, but kinda got lost at how it ended with them falling out.

Episode 5:
Maya’s mum coming back from the after life was kinda random lol.
People did exaggerate heavily on Kingpin’s defeat, but it was lame that it was done through Talk-No-Jutsu. But I am interested in the Mayor Fisk direction though.

Overall:
Literally just an okay series. There’s definitely exaggeration from people who defend and argue against this show. I would love to see the other Street level superheroes given this much seriousness though. (Also props to the creators for actually making the series a bit more engaging when it’s crucial to see Maya’s dialogue, unlike fcking shtty Secret Invasion).
