Logan
I still can’t get over Laura turning that cross into an X in the end. What a perfect way to end a character’s story.
A character journey with the most unlikely fake grandfather, father, and daughter worked wonders. The best part of their dynamic is them having a normal family dinner and reminiscing their past. Patrick Stewart really nails it in the coffin with his performance, making Charles part humorous and sympathetic - like it’s sad knowing how he much he has risen since First Class to now - but it’s kinda annoying that they brought Patrick Stewart in for Multiverse of Madness and kinda washed away what was supposed to be his last performance.
Just like how Deadpool’s action was great, this movie makes it look painful af. Being reminded of Logan being stabbed through the armpit is kinda unsettling.
This is such a great send off for Wolverine, but seeing him back in Deadpool & Wolverine really hope that the film turns out well. Unlike me wanting James McAvoy for Multiverse of Madness instead of Patrick Stewart, I do think the fandom deserves/needs Hugh Jackman back in that role for that specific occasion considering how much he was teased for it.
