Loki
Watching Season 2
Episode 1:
There was a lot of Loki explaining things out of context to Mobius and the TVA, and I’m not sure if understand how the solution for the Time Slipping actually works.
O.B. is a nice addition to the series, and I hope we see more of Ke Huy Quan in this franchise.
3/5
Episode 2:
Stakes feel much more elevated than any recent Marvel show. I enjoyed it a lot so far.
I do think the interrogation of Brad did take up too much time, which I know was really meant to setup the whole “is Loki a curse everywhere he goes?”, but I like how it opens up about Mobius’s interest in his past life before the TVA.
3.5/5
Episode 3:
Pretty decent episode. I like how they actually explored the full context of the end credits scene from QuantuMania.
I don’t know if it’s funny or odd that 2 of the antagonists in this series (Miss Minutes & Kang) are played by problematic people lol.

Episode 4:
I don’t have much to say other than of course Tara Strong’s character is happy to see people being tortured and killed.
I feel like there’s 0 hype for this series. It took me over a day to finally remember that a new episode was out. I’m not saying it’s as bad as Secret Invasion, but MCU shows feel so dead.

Episode 5:
I really enjoyed this episode. We finally get to see the TVA staff in their original lives, and O.B. outside of the TVA is still amazing.
What’s funny was that before I watched this episode I saw Variant Comics point out how the MCU has been killing off characters by turning them into noodles, and then this episode literally just continues that lmao.
Overall, fun episode. Could’ve been a less controversial episode if it wasn’t for the McDonald’s ad placement.

Episode 6:
That was a pretty satisfying conclusion, and it actually explained an issue that I had with the Endgame’s time travel logic along with other Marvel media.
It looked good, it was fun, and it gave us a proper ending with this series.

Overall:
This series actually feels more like watching a TV show than the other Marvel projects. Other MCU projects constantly make me think “this probably could’ve been a condensed film instead of a 6 episode series”.
Also I think this show goes to prove that you can make a season of an MCU show without a cameo (it didn’t need to be justified, but I’m sure someone at Marvel/Disney needed to hear that).
Apparently there’s not going to be another season, and Tom Hiddleston has pretty much said that this is where his story ends. I just hope the next Avengers movie doesn’t mess with this story.
No idea what’s happening with Jonathon Majors future with Marvel, because that situation is messy. With recent real world events, having a McDonald’s sponsor has definitely put off viewers from watching and staying subscribed to Disney+.
Not to mention Tara Strong being a xenophobe…
