Moon Knight

Watching this series without knowing who tf Moon Knight is. Ep1: So far it’s decent. It isn’t super duper engaging, but I do really like the visuals, tone and style. I think it was bold for them to make Moon Knight’s appearance at the very last minute, but it did make me excited to see whats going to happen next!  3.5/5 Ep2: Really interesting where this story is leading. Again some really good visuals and tone. I really enjoyed seeing Steven act a bit like a chav after he successfully punched one of those creatures. I’m confused why Marc swapped bodies with Steven after the museum fiasco though, when he wanted to be kept hidden. I’m hoping they’ll elaborate on that. 4/5 Ep3: Now I feel like the show is really going somewhere. We might be getting close to seeing answers about Marc’s identity crisis?!  The more we see Moon Knight, the more badass he truly gets - but seeing Marc being removed of his powers worries me for the next episode. To be honest, I didn’t understand how that map thing worked. 4/5 Ep4: I can’t say that I fully enjoyed this episode. The beginning with the archaeology stuff wasn’t very interesting to watch, and it was harder to watch when the environment was so dark that I couldn’t visually understand what was going on. The episode starts to get really good when they discover the tomb of Alexander The Great. The psych ward part is clearly an illusion but I’m glad that they didn’t dwell on it too much. I also like the hint of a possible third personality during that scene. One question that’s now ringing in my head is, where the f*ck were the Eternals when all of this stuff was happening in the past?! 3.5/5 Ep5: Honestly the best episode so far! Seeing the revelation of where Steven came from, and Marc’s tragic background was great to see.  I still want to know if we’ll see this 3rd personality?? (Also I’m not convinced that Steven is fully gone). 5/5 Ep6: Now I can say that this is my favourite D+ MCU series! Seeing Steven and Marc reunite is awesome! My only nitpick is that it did feel like a deus-ex machina when they were saved though. Seeing Layla becoming an avatar was awesome, and god please we need more of that Mr. Knight action! And the Jake reveal was just… epic! 4.5/5
