X-Men: First Class
F it. I’m giving it a perfect score. This was a great way of establishing how the X-Men were formed, clever in-jokes, and I really enjoyed the juxtaposition between Charles and Eric.
Obviously the wheelchair scene contradicts X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but screw it. That movie is barely canon.
I still say that Multiverse of Madness made the mistake of not using James McAvoy as Professor X. He’s fun, endearing, and that scene where he teaches everyone to overcome their weaknesses is great.
The death of Darwin is still very strange, but I’m just going to say that maybe the intense kinetic energy made it harder for him to adapt??
Overall, a great Marvel film. I know it kinda goes downhill for this part of the franchise…
