Devastating movie, sadly this is reality but it shouldn't have to be. Calpurina was beautiful in the movie and so was Barry. The Foreshadowing of the fight between fisher and Barry. The raw feelings you get from the scene of Barry questioning himself and coming to terms with himself in a way and him stating he just wants everyone to be happy.

Jane and I do have something in common , my kid sister got married before I did or at least mine actually did. The color palate of Jane and its progression throughout the film. The older sister troupe of "but if I don't." Jane being seen as someone who's constantly stretching herself thin and never doing anything for herself and towards the end she finally stopped saying yes. Jane realizing that even in her job she was being a people pleaser so with that all of her her hard work and being trampled over she  finally stood  up for herself. Full circle moment. Guilty pleasure is early 2000s rom coms

Growing up watching these movies and not getting any of the references to seeing this in the theaters and being chronically online and getting every reference is not something I expected . Very funny movie. I loved seeing all the old characters back on the big screen for scary movie 6

Such a cute short story , I'm always impressed by the animation and how much of a storyline they're able to create within such a short amount of time. I loved the comparison of music between the two characters. I liked how the husband was chasing the high of his adolescence and became slightly harsh in his old age and his wife being the opposite she was still the same happy woman she was in her young years. The rain is an example  of that,  washing away his age and him looking in his reflection and seeing his younger self and being happy again and up and moving around. Towards the end after he stops chasing the rain and chasing his adolescence he looks  around and sees  the beauty in everything all shapes and sizes and ages and finds happiness in that . Like the music the dancing also had a beautiful touch to how it related to what was going on in the story. The man leading and trying to impress. Then his rush to keep the moment going and being in the lead and taking wife through the rain to keep his young self. The wife being more of a softer person but also standing firm in her decisions to go out and to stop and leave when her husband wasn't thinking, her animation style was very cute as well. I'd definitely recommend and rewatch!
