HAHAHAHA!!!! YEAH!!!!!!! this movie is fucking awesome i really don’t have many complaints. just hilarious and a great tribute to its genre. wright has such a great way of twisting every aspect of the genres he cherishes that both mocks certain typical tropes within it and shows his appreciation of them at the same time and i think its just brilliant. i love how he does his editing as well its just so fun

i’m hesitant to give this a rating because i JUST watched it but man oh man does it have a great depiction of Where We Are Headed and what we can DO about it. also so wacky and fun i usually can’t keep up with time fucky movies very well but this film does a pretty great way of showing you what’s going on and being clear about it. also its funny as shit

though i do think this is beautiful i think the women in this story deserved the same nuance and attention that the men got HOWEVER. that being said. just a both beautiful and heart wrenching depiction of queer life during this time period that unfortunately still rings true today . this film does a fantastic job of showing everything i love about queerness and the community it fosters and the horrific nature of it that people can be more shy to address. i’ve thought about the ending of this film for DAYS and i can’t wait to see the rest of this trilogy honestly
