Incendies

what an insane movie. the way it tells the story from 2 diffrent perspectives was so unique and had me completly invested the whole time. it never felt slow, every scene actually mattered and just kept building and building. I felt like I was also investigating the past with the twins.  the way it depicts war and everything that comes with it felt so raw and brutal without trying to overdo it. the acting was absolutley incredible from everyone, it all felt so real, and it really evoked much emotion from me.  and that ending… i genuinly dont even know what to say. one of the craziest plot twists i’ve ever seen, but at the same time i was honestly just disgusted. i dont think i’ve ever had a movie leave me feeling so shocked and disturbed. such an amazing film that i never wanna experience for the first time agian.
