The Apprentice
Fantastic use of lighting, colour choice and cinematography.
For uncomfortable scenes, particular that during Trump and Cohn’s earlier relationship every shot is bathed in harsh claustrophobia. Only to then counter the experience once Trump usurp’s his mentor using a wider lens and use very warm lighting, aligning the audience’s experience with Trump’s own comfort depending on the situation.
Sebastian Stan’s acting is perfect. Every small mannerism, down to the way he looks at the people around him is exactly the way the real Trump acts. Every word dominates, even if it’s blatantly incorrect.
