Monster I feel is one of those films where the ending either lands with you or it doesn’t and other than it being beautifully shot the performance is all round of phenomenal. The soundtrack behind it is grey. I feel as though that for me it didn’t land in the emotional climax of this film and that was the thing that I was hoping. it would do. I mean the film is great all around like it’s still worth a watch. I just feel it didn’t land on that emotional scale that it did for many others. -BW 4/5
